Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit night shift position requiring telemetry experience and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Every other weekend coverage required, totaling six weekends per contract
• Floating required within RN skillset
• Locals within 60 miles eligible for consideration
• Provide nursing care and monitoring for patients on telemetry
• Must be able to float to other units within the telemetry skillset as needed
• Weekend and holiday coverage required per contract terms
• Candidates will undergo EKG rhythm interpretation testing as part of onboarding

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
• First time travelers are accepted for this position
