Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a PA or compact license and certification in CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
Rotating shifts include 7:00-19:30, 11:00-23:30, and 19:00-7:30
Rotation of shifts typically occurs every 4-6 weeks
Every other weekend shifts required
No floating to other units is required for Emergency Department RNs
Blocks of 6 shifts can be scheduled
Cerner EMR system is used
Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
Provide emergency care for a diverse patient population
No local candidates will be considered

Requirements

Active PA or compact RN license in hand
Current certifications: CPR, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Trauma experience preferred
