Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac ICU position requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Cardiac ICU unit
• Patient population consists of cardiac critical care cases
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• All candidates must have a US Social Security Number and a US home address
• Local candidates are considered but may be subject to a reduced rate based on facility radius rules
• Covid vaccination is not currently required for this position
• Position is eligible for auto offer

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required with regular updates
• Completion of CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills or MOAB De-Escalation Course is required prior to start; on-site CPI/MOAB training during orientation
• Nursys license verification prior to the start of assignment
