Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in a Magnet, Level II Trauma teaching facility, requiring a CA RN license and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital ICU with possible float to Telemetry or Med Surg units
• Patient population includes critical care and telemetry cases
• Facility is Magnet designated, teaching hospital, Level II Trauma Center
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:30
• Weekend shifts are required
• Charting is done on Cerner EMR
• Floating to other ICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg units may be required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Up to 7 days of requested time off and 1 holiday may be approved if submitted prior to offer
• No specific scrub color required, but camouflage or character patterns are not permitted
• Free parking is available
• Cannot accommodate block scheduling or specific schedule requests
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Current and active CA RN license required at the time of application
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• First-time travelers are accepted
