Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 18 months of Level 1 Trauma and C-Arm experience for day shifts at a busy trauma center.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Level 1 trauma center supporting more than 30 operating rooms, 6 ICUs, a 70+ bed emergency department, and approximately 700 inpatient beds
- Responsibilities include imaging of extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, and trauma cases
- Use GE and Siemens equipment
- Utilizes Cerner EMR with experience required
- Day shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Travelers will float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed
- First-time travelers are welcome
- All travelers may be required to float within hospital or to affiliated locations
- Candidates must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of time off will be automatically approved
- Former permanent or PRN employees must have a 12-month break before consideration as travelers
- Call-ins may extend the contract based on facility policy
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months to 2 years experience in X-Ray with Level 1 Trauma and surgery/C-Arm exposure
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required (AHA & RQI accepted and must be current)
- Indiana or compact state license needed by start date; pending license accepted if start is at least 2 weeks out (license required if applicable)
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university
- Experience with Cerner charting required
