Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with an active TN or compact license and current AHA BLS certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Position based in a hospital operating room setting
Four 10-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
On-call required Monday through Thursday and every 3rd to 4th weekend
Holiday rotation is required
General orientation begins on Sundays, with online learning modules
Contract nurses are expected to support and participate in nursing student clinical education while providing patient care
First-day orientation includes 16 hours of non-clinical, online and onsite education
No local candidates accepted within a 100-mile radius
Rotating holiday coverage may be required

Requirements

Active RN license (TN or compact) required at the time of consideration
Current AHA BLS certification is required
Permanent residence must be at least 100 miles from the facility
Experience in an operating room setting preferred
