Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with AZ or compact license and charge nurse background for a flexible night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an ICU setting providing intensive and coronary care
• 12-hour night shifts with flexibility to work days, weekends, and holidays as needed
• May be required to work up to 48 hours per week
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Requires occasional floating to other qualified departments
• Orientation occurs on Mondays only
• Must demonstrate flexibility as schedule and department needs may change
• May be assigned task-oriented duties in other units such as answering call lights or phones
• Holiday RTO is not accepted for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's holidays
• Maximum of 2 shift call offs allowed during assignment

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact state RN license in hand
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Certifications needed: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Conscious Sedation certification can be obtained onsite for a fee
