Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring an OH or compact RN license and willingness to float to multiple pediatric units.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30
• Floating required to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical-surgical units as needed
• Will receive appropriate assignments when floated to other pediatric units
• Role may involve caring for critically ill pediatric cardiovascular patients as well as other pediatric populations when floated
• Compliance with strict attendance and punctuality policies is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Travelers are expected to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when assigned to different units

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of recent nursing experience preferred
• Must provide two supervisory professional references, with at least one from a supervisor or manager
• Not eligible if employed permanently within the same health system in the last two years
• No local candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered for RN roles
