Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute rehab 13-week assignment requiring at least 18 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Position based in an acute rehab unit on the 5th floor
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsibilities include delivering acute inpatient rehabilitation therapy services as assigned
• Travelers must adhere to strict rules for requested time off (RTO): maximum of 5 days if not during holidays, maximum of 3 days if on or near a holiday, and only one holiday request allowed
• Several RTO days during the holidays will not be approved, and RTO must be spread out
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of recent Physical Therapist experience
• Active license required if applicable
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Candidates who previously worked at this health system must be separated for at least one year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
