Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a NJ or compact RN license and advanced life support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for a diverse emergency patient population
• Provide full-spectrum emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates must provide documentation of current flu and COVID vaccinations if required
• Local candidates are accepted under the same pay conditions as travel nurses
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS from American Heart Association or Red Cross
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Workplace Violence Prevention (DCI/BVP) certification required, can be completed online
• Primary Source Verification of license within 30 days of start
