Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on day shifts, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Medical/Surgical unit on Floor 1
Patient care setting is Medical/Surgical with typical Med/Surg caseload
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Assignment is for an 8-week duration
Returned travelers must have at least a two-year gap since prior permanent employment at any CHS facility
RTO (Requested Time Off) must be less than one week
No local travelers allowed within a 50-mile radius
Required to provide care for a variety of adult medical and surgical patients
Must adhere to hospital policies and unit protocols

Requirements

Active AL or compact RN license required
Minimum of one year of recent experience in the Med/Surg specialty required
No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the start date
Candidates must not have been permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
