Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position, requiring recent specialty experience and an AL or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit (Floor 6)
• Patient population consists of general medical-surgical cases
• Day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Local travelers living within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
• Returning travelers must meet rehire eligibility requirements
• First-time travelers are accepted if all other requirements are met

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
