Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for evening shifts, requiring a NY license and ARRT registration.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital radiology department
Full-time, 8-hour evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with weekend rotation
13-week contract assignment
No on-call requirements
Must live more than 75 miles from the facility
Role involves performing general radiology imaging procedures
Weekend work is part of the standard rotation
No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius of the facility

Requirements

Current NY state Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Current BCLS certification
Minimum of one year of radiologic or imaging experience required
Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Must maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal law
