Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 3 years of experience and a valid PT license to work in a small rural clinic primarily handling orthopedic cases.

Responsibilities

• Work setting is a small rural clinic
• Primary patient population is orthopedic, with a variety of other diagnoses also seen
• Day shift schedule from 08:00 to 17:00
• No weekend or call requirements
• 13 week contract assignment
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, individualized care planning, and delivering professional physical therapy interventions
• Expected to provide patient-centered care that reflects excellent service standards and core values
• Works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Ongoing professional development and participation in educational offerings are encouraged
• No charge nurse or PCS responsibilities expected for this position

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Physical Therapist experience required
• Current PT license required; license required if applicable
• AHA BLS certification required
• State-specific registry verification and primary source verification for license
