Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position on a Cardiovascular unit, requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in a hospital on the 4M Cardiovascular unit
• Care is provided to cardiovascular patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• 12-hour night shifts are required
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirement
• Strict rules apply to requested time off, with a maximum of five days unless near a holiday, in which case a maximum of three days is allowed
• Only one holiday time-off request is permitted during the assignment
• Several days of time off during the same holiday period will not be approved and must be spread out
• Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Former employees must be separated from Emory or Houston for 1 year, and from the same facility for 18 months prior to returning
