Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN with at least 18 months of experience and a Georgia or compact RN license for a Pre-Op unit position.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Pre-Op unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift with 9-hour AM shifts
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract assignment
- No local candidates allowed within a 50-mile radius
- Must provide Pre-Op and PACU care for surgical patients
- Time off requests are limited to a maximum of five days unless during holidays, when only three days are permitted
- Only one holiday time off request is allowed per contract
- Return-to-work rules apply for former staff members
- RTO requests must not cluster around holidays
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum of 18 months RN experience required
- Must meet specific employment separation requirements if previously worked at Emory or Houston facilities
- Must not have been employed at the same facility within the past 18 months or within the health system in the last year
