Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with recent acute care experience and Epic EMR proficiency for an inpatient rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an inpatient/acute care rehab unit
• Variable day shifts, typically 8am to 4:30pm or as late as 9:30am to 6pm, Monday through Friday with some weekend shifts
• Floating required between primary Everett Hospital location and occasionally to Cambridge Hospital; rare coverage at Somerville Hospital for pediatric/adolescent behavioral health beds
• No on-call requirement
• Patient population is primarily adult and geriatric
• Epic EMR experience is required for most units
• Must be flexible with scheduling as block scheduling is not allowed
• Must work every other major holiday
• Flu vaccination required during season
• Scrubs of any color are permitted
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• RTO requests cannot exceed 5 days and must be included at time of submission
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Requirements

• Current PT license in Massachusetts required at the time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care physical therapy experience required
• Recent travel experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• NPI number required
• Ability to independently perform PT evaluations, treatments, and re-evaluations in acute care
• Epic EMR experience required
