Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position with night shifts and a WY or compact license requirement.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Women's Services/OB unit
• Work setting is a hospital environment
• Night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient care focused on labor, delivery, and postpartum cases
• Team-based nursing care provided to mothers and infants during delivery and postpartum periods
• Required to clock in and out using the hospital's electronic timekeeping system
• Staff may be required to float within a defined radius
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for travel eligibility
• Holiday coverage may be required as per hospital policy

Requirements

• Active WY or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery or OB required
• Current BLS certification required (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
• No certifications can expire within 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past year
• Must provide full US Social Security Number and date of birth for compliance
• Applicants cannot be currently employed in a permanent position within the health system
