Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an inpatient rehab position requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of med-surg experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute rehab unit within a hospital setting
- Provide care for patients with stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, hip fracture, brain injury, neuro disorders, orthopedic trauma, and disabilities
- Night shifts available, either 3x12 or 4x12 (19:00–07:00), with weekend shifts required up to every other weekend
- Complies with a 60-mile radius rule for eligibility
- Biweekly orientation sessions held on Mondays
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Professional scrubs in any color are allowed, including child-friendly printed tops and scrub or lab coats
- Must maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Work in a supportive interdisciplinary team environment
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license (may be pending at time of consideration)
- Current BLS certification required
- CRRN certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years recent med-surg experience required
- Nicotine-free status required for campus compliance
