Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Tech with at least 2 years of adult inpatient, outpatient, and ICU experience and required ARRT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit with both outpatient and adult inpatient/ICU cases
• Handle a wide range of procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, vascular studies, neuro studies, and drainages
• Proficient use of PACS, C-Arm, contrast, biopsies, micro catheters, micro wires, Snare Kits, injector systems (preferably ACIST), and pushable/detachable coils required
• Uses Epic EMR, Epic experience is required
• Schedule consists of 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call rotation averages 10 days per month and includes some weekends
• No floating required outside IR
• Duties include performing a variety of complex interventional radiology procedures using advanced imaging and specialized equipment
• Must be available to work 4 out of the 8 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Scrubs are provided as part of the dress code
• Onsite parking is available at no cost

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent Interventional Radiology experience in outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settings
• Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with procedures and equipment outlined in job details is required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must live more than 70 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Pending license considered at manager discretion
• RTO must be submitted with application; additional requests after confirmation are at manager's discretion
• License required if applicable
