Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in acute care settings and strong Siemens MRI equipment skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in adult and pediatric acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/trauma settings
• Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Patient cases include abdomen, pelvis, chest, brain, musculoskeletal, and spine MR imaging
• Procedures include abdominal MRA/MRV, MRCP, cardiac MRI (preferred), and comprehensive musculoskeletal exams
• Siemens MRI equipment is used
• Epic EMR experience is required
• All travelers must be willing to float between facilities within the state as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Former perm staff must have separated from Providence facilities at least 3 months before contract and not be within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal to no requested time off is permitted; all requests must be disclosed during application
• References from a minimum of 2 supervisory sources covering 1 year in the last three years in a comparable setting are required
• All travelers may be assigned to any facility within the state as business needs require
• Return contracts for previous employees require adherence to separation and radius policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience in relevant acute care settings
• Current ARRT MR and BLS certifications required
• State license required if applicable
• Experience with Siemens MRI scanners preferred
• Proficiency in performing contrast administration, isolation precautions, and radiation safety
• Ability to perform required MRI imaging procedures listed, including advanced imaging sequences
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
