Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position with Epic experience and an active NH state license required.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
• Patient population includes post-op ortho, spine, joint replacements, arthritis, and general musculoskeletal cases
• Typical duties include evaluation, treatment planning, reassessment, and discharge for common outpatient PT diagnoses
• Uses Epic for charting and documentation; experience is required
• Work schedule is Mon/Wed 8:30a-7:30p, Tues/Thurs 7a-12p, Fri 7a-4:30p
• No call, float, or weekend shifts
• Orientation to clinic is provided by the manager
• Duties include patient/family education, home exercise programs, pain assessment, and functional mobility training
• Must have skills in examination and treatment for orthopedic, neuro, and post-op conditions
• Not open to travelers who have previously worked at any SolutionHealth-associated facility
• Travelers within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate
• Professional attire or clinic-appropriate dress code is required
• Experience with treatments including extremity/joint mobilization, taping, myofascial release, and modalities such as ultrasound and TENS is preferred

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire state PT license required if applicable
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program required
• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• References required for consideration; traveler may be able to start with a second reference pending
• Only AHA and Red Cross certifications are accepted
