Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic serving young adults through geriatrics, requiring BLS and appropriate state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
• Patient population includes young adults to geriatrics with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions
• Typical cases include sports injuries, post-surgical care, chronic pain, CVA recovery, fall screens, balance training, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis
• Patients are scheduled one at a time, with one-hour blocks for evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups, extendable at therapist discretion
• Flexible schedule options available: four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, with day shift hours from 7:30 to 18:00
• Returning travelers must not have been employed by any Guthrie facility within the past one year
• Therapists have autonomy to schedule follow-up appointments based on patient complexity
• Focus on providing individualized, quality care without double booking

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• Active state physical therapy license required; license required if applicable
• Experience treating a broad age range from young adult to geriatric populations
• Ability to effectively manage orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and neurological outpatient cases
