Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current ARRT (R), BLS, and Indiana state license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on the X-Ray Tech unit
• Night shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM
• 5x8 hour shifts each week
• Cerner EMR system is used and proficiency is required
• Candidates may be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Local candidates are accepted
• Must be willing to work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Royal blue scrubs are required
• Free parking is provided
• Up to 5 days of requested time off can be auto-approved
• Returning employees must have been separated as Perm or PRN staff for at least 12 months before being eligible

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Current ARRT (R) certification is required
• Active BLS certification from AHA or RQI is required
• Indiana state license in hand at time of consideration is required; pending state licenses are not accepted
• Degree must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• License required if applicable
