Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Med-Surg night shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on the Med/Surg, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), floor 2
• Cares for a mixed Med/Surg and progressive care patient population
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local travelers permitted within a 50-mile radius
• Handles a patient population requiring progressive and med/surg level care
• RTO (requested time off) requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates with US Social Security Numbers only are eligible; Canadian SIN not accepted

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PCU or Med/Surg specialty
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• No certifications may expire within 30 days of contract start
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
