Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a hospital-based day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital setting with a 142-bed facility designated as trauma level III
• Treats patient populations including post-op, neuro, general debility, COPD, and CHF
• 5 eight-hour day shifts per week with rotating weekends and holiday coverage
• Possible floating between Cleveland and Kings Mountain locations
• Uses Epic EMR for charting; prior Epic experience preferred
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Collaborative team environment within the rehabilitation department
• Initial onboarding and department orientation spans 4-5 days
• Light gray scrubs are required
• Free parking available on site
• Holiday work expected unless approved RTO is arranged
• Position open to candidates who can float between two locations

Requirements

• Active PT state license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care physical therapy experience
• First-time travelers considered with prior acute care PT/OT experience
