Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo and Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience in echo and vascular ultrasound for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting specializing in echo, vascular, abdominal, breast, OB/GYN, general ultrasound, and small parts imaging
• Perform an average of 6-8 exams per day including echo/vascular, abdominal, breast, biopsies, and small parts procedures
• Utilize Philips Epiq Elite and GE Logic ultrasound equipment
• 8-hour day shifts with variable start and end times between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Possible float to other locations within the south region
• Rotating on-call and call-back duties averaging 1 day per week and every 6th weekend
• 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility
• Must be able to communicate effectively and collaborate as part of a team
• Potential for low census on-call hours, with up to 36 unbillable low census hours per contract
• During flu season, unvaccinated individuals must wear a mask consistently and without exception
• Professional appearance required; scrubs of any color are acceptable
• First-time travelers will be considered in accordance with experience requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience with strong skills in echo and vascular studies
• Current certification required: ARDMS RDCS or ARDMS RVT or CCI RCS or CCI RVS
• Excellent imaging experience and ability to deliver quality patient care
• Active license required if applicable
