Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Level 1 trauma and strong scrub experience for a varied surgical environment in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level 1 Trauma 18-bed Operating Room
• Care for patients undergoing General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries
• Shifts include 8, 10, and 12-hour day/evening shifts between 06:30 and 23:30
• Scheduled for 40 hours per week
• Call required Monday through Friday from 21:00 to 06:30 and 12-hour call shifts on weekends
• Uses Epic for patient records
• Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing, with a focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
• Preferred experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns cases
• Must provide care and work closely with a surgical team in a fast-paced trauma environment
• No time off is permitted from 2/15/26 through 2/28/26

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Previous Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Extensive scrub experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current BCLS certification
