Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring night shifts and proficiency in telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Schedule consists of 3x12 hour night shifts with weekdays, some weekends, and rotating holidays
• Approximate patient ratio is 1:5
• Must float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring and IV starts
• Epic EMR system is used for documentation
• Responsible for administering PCU-level care and monitoring patients using telemetry

• Floating within the facility may be required based on unit needs
• No time off is permitted between 2/15/26 and 2/28/26
• Holiday rotation is required as part of the schedule

Requirements

• Active Ohio or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Minimum 4 years of MS/TELE experience considered
• Current ACLS and BCLS certifications required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Skills in telemetry monitoring and IV starts required
