Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU day shift position in New York, requiring an active NY RN license and recent EPIC EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU/SICU)
- Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- EPIC EMR is used and prior experience is required
- No blocked scheduling is permitted
- Competency testing for ICU is required with up to two attempts to pass
- No local candidates allowed residing within the defined counties and 50-mile radius
- More than three call outs during the 13-week assignment may result in contract termination and makeup shifts must be completed within six weeks
- Time off (RTO) must be requested at the time of application
- Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Neuroscience or Surgical ICU specialties
- Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
- EPIC EMR experience is mandatory
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number is required; Canadian SIN not accepted
- Medical exemption for flu vaccine must be signed by a licensed professional
