Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Home Health Physical Therapist with a compact or WV PT license and a minimum of one year recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a home health setting serving community-based patients
Day shifts from 08:00 to 16:30
13-week contract assignment
Provide in-home physical therapy assessments and interventions to a diverse patient population
Documentation and EMR system use per home health standards
COVID and flu vaccinations may be required per current guidelines
First-time travelers will be considered for the position

Requirements

Active PT license in WV or a compact state, current at time of application
Minimum one year of recent home health physical therapy experience
Certifications (if required) must be from American Heart Association (AHA) and valid for the duration of contract
No certification may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
Candidates must live at least 65 miles from the facility
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
