Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / IR Technologist with ARRT(R) and BLS certification for a day shift position in a high-acuity cardiac setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab
• Procedures include cardiac cath lab, electrophysiology studies, TAVR, and left atrial appendage closure
• Day shift schedule with 1-2 on-call shifts per week and one weekend per month
• Patient population consists of adults requiring advanced cardiac and interventional radiology procedures
• Sterile technique and preparation of equipment is required
• Required to monitor and document procedural data and event logs
• Responsibilities include preparing supplies, ensuring proper sterilization, and setting up sterile fields
• Must advocate for and adhere to strict radiation safety protocols
• Expected to document fluoroscopy times and radiation doses while ensuring they are within safety limits
• On-call rotation includes weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• First-time travelers are considered

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• Active ARRT(R) required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• Experience as a cath lab or radiologic technologist
• State license required if applicable
