Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for Home Health with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and proficiency with Oasis and Epic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting serving Seaside, OR and the surrounding areas
• Day shift, 5x8 hour shifts, from 8:00 to 16:30
• 1:1 patient ratio with up to 6 patient visits per day, targeting 30 productivity points daily
• No weekend, on-call, or floating requirements within a unit; however, travelers may be required to float between all facilities within the state
• Patient visits may involve driving up to a maximum daily radius of approximately 60 miles or 60-90 minutes total drive time
• Charting is done using Epic Remote Client, Rover app, and Oasis on provided devices
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard
• Primary responsibilities include evaluating, treating, and documenting care for home health patients across a varied caseload
• System prioritizes efficient scheduling to minimize windshield time for visits
• No requirement to work weekends or on-call shifts
• First-time travelers accepted for this role
• Locals within a 50-75 mile radius are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal to no RTO preferred; all time-off requests must be discussed and approved prior to assignment acceptance
• Free parking provided at home health office locations

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent skilled home health PT experience required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Current BCLS certification required
• Experience with Oasis documentation required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Primary COVID vaccination series and one booster required
• Must have own reliable transportation
• Ability to comply with business casual dress code; scrubs allowed but not required
• SSN, DOB, and minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within past 3 years required for consideration
