Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with Siemens MRI experience for a multi-campus contract position involving rotating shifts and weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital environment with patient care at both main and satellite campuses
Float between main campus and satellite (Milford) campus as required
Rotating day and evening shifts including weekends and holidays
Weekday shifts are 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM; weekend shifts are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Call required only at main campus with weekday call shifts from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM and weekend call from 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Uses Siemens MRI machines
Primary responsibilities include performing MRI imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety
Up to 7 days of requested time off may be auto-approved
First-time travelers are considered
No scrubs provided; adhere to hospital dress code
Free parking available

Requirements

Certification required as an MRI Technologist
Demonstrated proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment
Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
COVID-19 vaccine and booster required; exemptions only for religious or medical reasons
Must have experience handling hospital-based MRI cases
Radius rule: must live at least 75 miles from the facility for travel consideration
Returning employees must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
