Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg rehab night shift position requiring a NM or compact license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work on the Medical Surgical unit in a rehabilitation hospital setting
Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:30, with option for 36 or 48 hours per week
Uses Epic charting system (experience preferred)
No travel pairs or groups accepted
Provides nursing care to patients in a rehab medical-surgical environment
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved
No RTO allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required; 1-2 years preferred
Current BLS certification required
Epic EMR experience preferred
Locals within 50 miles not eligible
Former perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before applying as a traveler
