Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN with a NM or compact license for a day shift rehabilitation assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit within a rehabilitation hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 to 19:30), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Cares for a rehabilitation patient population
• Uses Epic for charting, with Epic experience preferred
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Open to first-time travelers
• Former permanent staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be automatically approved
• No RTO permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• 1 to 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
