Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department assignment requiring a NM or compact license and recent ER experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shifts available (4x12 hours, 19:00–07:30)
- Option to work either 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend shifts are required
- Floating to other units is required
- Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred but not required
- Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned during night shifts
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Travel pairs or group submissions are not accepted
- Previous permanent staff must have a one-year separation before returning as a traveler
- Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible
- No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
Requirements
- Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required
- 1-2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
- Epic charting system experience preferred
