Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department assignment requiring a NM or compact license and recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shifts available (4x12 hours, 19:00–07:30)
• Option to work either 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend shifts are required
• Floating to other units is required
• Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred but not required
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned during night shifts
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Travel pairs or group submissions are not accepted
• Previous permanent staff must have a one-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible
• No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required
• 1-2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
