Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of recent experience and ARDMS or CCI certification for a hospital-based role.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based echo/cardiology department
• Performing cardiac and vascular ultrasound imaging using Philips Epiq system
• Shift options include Monday through Friday 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM or four 10-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM with Monday and Friday required
• Every third weekend and holiday coverage required
• 8 AM to 8 PM call responsibility every third weekend
• Must provide two professional references, one of which must be a Nurse Manager or higher
• Holiday coverage is part of the schedule
• 75 mile radius rule applies for tech positions
• Scrub or dress code details not specified
• Responsibilities include performing echocardiograms and providing high-quality diagnostic images

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an Echo Technologist or Cardiac Sonographer
• ARDMS certification highly preferred; CCI certification will be considered
• Experience working with Philips Epiq system required
• Must be able to pass a pass/fail EKG test
• License required if applicable
