Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with at least one year of recent experience and a NM or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours, 6:30 to 19:00
• Floating required to like units and as support on other units
• Every other weekend coverage required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• Scrubs of any color are permitted, but logos are not allowed
• No more than three days of requested time off will be auto approved; no RTO allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum one year recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred but not required
• Locals within 50 miles are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must be gone at least one year before returning as a traveler
