Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT certification and call rotation experience for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Hospital X-Ray Tech assignment in radiology/cardiology department
• Primarily day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• One 8-hour call shift is required every 2 weeks; call may occur weekdays or weekends at varying times
• May work in float pool or inpatient units as needed based on experience
• Experience with the Epic EMR system is helpful
• Familiarity with Carestream portable machines is advantageous
• Must not have been a permanent staff member at the hospital in the past 12 months
• A 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility
• Documented background issues should be disclosed
• Time off requests are allowed up to 40 hours per 13-week contract
• Applicants should share any vacation plans between offer and start to ensure realistic onboarding timelines
• No return permanent staff are eligible for assignment

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required
• Active VA state license required if applicable; applicants eligible with pending VA license or valid license from another state
• Minimum two professional references required for consideration
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred for float pool and inpatient units
• Ability to participate in required call rotation
