Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT certification and call rotation experience for a 13-week day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Hospital X-Ray Tech assignment in radiology/cardiology department
- Primarily day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- One 8-hour call shift is required every 2 weeks; call may occur weekdays or weekends at varying times
- May work in float pool or inpatient units as needed based on experience
- Experience with the Epic EMR system is helpful
- Familiarity with Carestream portable machines is advantageous
- Must not have been a permanent staff member at the hospital in the past 12 months
- A 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility
- Documented background issues should be disclosed
- Time off requests are allowed up to 40 hours per 13-week contract
- Applicants should share any vacation plans between offer and start to ensure realistic onboarding timelines
- No return permanent staff are eligible for assignment
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification required
- Active VA state license required if applicable; applicants eligible with pending VA license or valid license from another state
- Minimum two professional references required for consideration
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred for float pool and inpatient units
- Ability to participate in required call rotation
