Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN with at least two years of experience, an active IN or compact license, and strong EKG skills for a night shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:00)
• Requires working every third weekend
• No call required
• Holiday coverage is rotational
• Floating to other units as needed
• Charting is done using Cerner EMR
• Royal blue scrubs are required
• Candidates with critical care background or telemetry-specific training are desired
• Team consists of both critical care-trained and tele-trained nurses
• Rotational holiday coverage is expected
• Orientation and support are provided to first-time travelers

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license (pending accepted if active by start date)
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS required
• Must pass an EKG test prior to consideration
• Preferred certifications: CPI and NIHSS
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are accepted
