Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift position requiring advanced certifications and recent CVICU experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the CVICU of a hospital setting with exposure to mixed ICU patient populations
Primary focus on CVICU patients with responsibility for occasional overflow from other ICU units
12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., three shifts per week
May be required to care for overflow ICU patients in addition to CVICU patients
Must provide a copy of driver’s license and SSN for credentialing

Requirements

Active MD or Compact RN license required
At least 3 years of nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years as a staff nurse in the CVICU
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and CALS required
Two references required for consideration
