Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on night shift requiring an OH or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
Patient population includes general surgery, trauma, vascular, wound, and plastics cases
Assigned to the East Tower
Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM totaling 36 hours per week
Estimated nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5
Floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity
No on-call responsibilities
Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
Role provides care across general surgery, trauma, vascular, wound, and plastics subspecialties
No on-call and no mandatory holiday coverage specified
Scrub and dress code details not specified

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required
At least 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience
Current BLS certification required
Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and intermediate nursing skills
Epic charting experience required
