Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a post-acute rehab day shift assignment requiring BLS certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a post-acute care setting with an Occupational Therapy team
  • Day shift position with 8-hour shifts
  • Flexible scheduling options: Monday to Friday, Sunday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Saturday
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Provide occupational therapy support services to patients in a post-acute environment
  • Work collaboratively with licensed therapists and interdisciplinary team members
  • Orientation is not provided for this assignment

Requirements

  • Active COTA license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Experience with computerized charting systems
