Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of ICU experience and active IN or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU unit of a hospital setting with a 7-bed capacity
• Manage critically ill adult patients with nurse to patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1
• Utilize Liberty Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler, Meditech EMR, Omnicell, Philips monitors, Alaris IV pumps, and NICOM
• 12-hour night shifts with scheduled weekend shifts required
• Floating required to all departments, including MedSurg, consistent with competency
• Provide direct nursing care, perform patient assessments, and coordinate care delivery in the ICU
• Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Professional nurse dress code is required

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required
• Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
