Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent inpatient MS/Tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift position with 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30)
• Patient population includes adult med/surg and telemetry cases
• Requires working at least every other holiday
• Documentation of hours worked is completed in the Lotus system
• Main responsibilities include providing nursing care to adult Med/Surg and telemetry patients
• Orientation includes required testing for ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety
• Assignment cannot exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, with a 6-month wait required before re-assignment
• Holiday coverage is required for at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• A minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Certifications required: AHA BLS and ACLS
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
