Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a travel assignment in Texas requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an emergency department within a hospital environment
• Provide care for a diverse patient population with acute medical and trauma needs
• 12-hour shifts; scheduled 7am-7pm four times per week and 11am-11pm twice per week
• Required to work every other weekend
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Previous travel RN experience preferred
• Returning employees or travelers must have not worked at the facility for at least one year prior
• Every other weekend scheduling is mandatory

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent ER nursing experience
• Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC
• One professional reference from entire work history required for consideration
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
