Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Tele Stroke position, requiring an AL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work on the 5 North Heart/Stroke unit of a hospital setting
Care for heart and stroke patient population requiring medical-surgical and telemetry care
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week assignment length
Uses Meditech EMR for charting
Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules
No mileage restrictions; local candidates accepted at same rates
Competency-based modules are completed during virtual orientation
Scrub or dress code details will be provided during onboarding
Role involves working closely with other nursing and medical staff

Requirements

Active AL or compact RN license required with no past or current disciplinary actions
Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year recent experience in med/surg tele stroke specialty
No pending or temporary licenses accepted
Resume, full SSN, cover sheet, application, skills checklist, two recent references, license verification, and valid driver’s license required for consideration
