Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with an active IA or compact license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in the Surgery/Operating Room unit of a hospital
Day shifts from 06:00 to 18:30
36–40 hours per week with call responsibilities
Holidays are included in the on-call rotation
Overnight call required approximately every 1–2 weeks
Weekend call required approximately every 4–5th weekend
Expect to participate in a rotating on-call schedule including holidays and weekends
References, licensure verification, and a COVID vaccination card may be required for consideration
Local rates for RNs are only offered in certain states including IA

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience
License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date
NIHSS certification required
