Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a 13-week Emergency Department position requiring an IA or compact RN license and advanced life support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adults and pediatrics requiring emergency care
• Typical shift is from 08:00 to 20:30
• Work every third weekend
• Holiday rotation includes working every other holiday
• BLS and ACLS cards must include images of both the front and back
• Emergency Department RNs must attach a scanned copy of PALS or ENPC certification with expiration date
• Work days will be scheduled in accordance with every third weekend and every other holiday rotation
• No mention of first-time traveler restrictions

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• PALS or ENPC certification required for Emergency Department RNs
• TNCC certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• License verification must be dated within 30 days prior to start
• No specific years of experience required
